Comment:	the marathon takes place on suspended streets (see regulations). For your safety there are up to 200 track marshals and 15 motorcycle marshals. Several food stations along the track and at the start and finish-area. Participants can attend the short distance race from the age of 16 if they have a statement of agreement from a legal guardian. route description:	Gerolstein – Pelm – Bewingen – Dohm/Lammersdorf – Walsdorf – Kerpen – Flesten – Wiesbaum – Birgel (beverage station I) - Lissendorf – Oberbettingen - Basberg – Auel – Scheuern – Kalenborn – Gerolstein/Roth – Gerolstein The relatively simple route of 46km and 693 meters in height leads initially through the idyllic Kylltal beneath the Kasselburg via Perm to Dohm-Lammersdorf. Here awaits you the first climb towards Rockeskyll before it takes you via Walsdorf, passing the medieval castle Kerpen, to Flesten. From here the route takes you from Wiesbaum to the first beverage station at the historic mill in Birgel. Freshly strengthened the last few kilometers can be taken via Lissendorf, Oberbettingen, Basberg, Auel, Scheuern, Kalenborn and Gerolstein-Roth back to the finish at Gerolstein.
