SERVICES AND PRICES

In the context of 2010's Gerolsteiner-Radsport-Festivals the following services and costs apply:

OTHER SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE ORGANIZER

• Accreditation in Gerolstein and providing the starter package consisting of start number, transponder etc.
• Completely signposted course with clearly visible signs
• Mobile crew on the course to warn motorists
• Marshals on motorcycles ahead of the peloton to check the signposting, as an escort, to protect participants and enforce the rules and regulations
• Pilot vehicle with PA system and warning signals (marathon only)
• Comprehensive supporting events at the Expo area with music, presentations, award ceremonies, bestowal of winner jerseys
• Emergency doctors on motorcycles fully equipped to provide first aid to injured participants
• Ambulances and paramedics to take care of and transport injured participants, first-aid tent at the finish
• Permanent contact with local emergency officials and first-aid centers to ensure assistance in case of a bigger accident
• Professional start/finish area with traffic management
• Professional timekeeping by way of transponders
• Check points to keep track on all participants
• Food and drinks at the finish and on the marathon course
• Technical services along the course and at the start/finish area (spare parts have to be paid for)
• Broom wagon (bus) to transport exhausted riders and broken-down bicycles (marathon only)
• Race control vehicle at the end of the peloton to protect riders against traffic (marathon only)
• Info counter to assist with accommodations, help find rooms or a place for your caravan on short notice
• Daily, up-to-date Internet coverage of the Gerolsteiner-Radsport-Festival
• Press office and services
• Photo service for the participants (photos have to be paid for)
• professional evening event with music, pictures of the day
• Race office to answer questions about the regulations, the course, etc.
• Jury to negotiate and decide in case of appeals
